Beyond the ordinary

For Now, It’s Break Time

Sometimes the work follows me home.

A conversation stays in my head. An image keeps asking for another look. One idea turns into another question, then another. That is part of how I work, but life still happens outside the studio, outside the camera and outside the writing.

So for now, it’s break time.

Coffee. Always coffee.

Then Thursday brings something completely different — a newborn session, new beginnings and probably at least one tiny person who has absolutely no interest in my carefully planned schedule.

The work will still be there when I come back to it. Sometimes stepping away is part of the process too.

And if you’ve been thinking about booking a shoot, maybe take this as your sign.

Come as you are. We’ll make something good. I’ll supply the camera, the calm space and probably too much coffee
